Men’s Basketball Team Wins Big Over Nashua

 

The men’s basketball team improved its record to 7-9, with a 94-63 win over Nashua Community College (5-7) Wedneseday at home.

Hudson Valley had a 17-point lead at the half and cruised to the 31-point victory. Kalik Parker’s (Ragsdale/Jamestown, NC) first five field goals came from behind the arc; he scored 23 of his 25 points in the first half. Parker also added three blocks and is currently ranked 15th in the nation in blocks per game, averaging 2.47. Jesse Smith (Bishop Maginn/Albany) had his second consecutive strong outing coming off the bench, adding 13 points.

The Vikings travel to Herkimer County Community College for an afternoon game at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22.
